guys here joining me on this crazy life
journey that I have and just being there
for the ride you know I know that
there's those highs and there's those
lows there's some greats and there's
some blows but in return are in the in
reality that is all part of life so
welcome and I can't say enough thank
yous and I am excited to have you guys
on this journey with me all right you
guys so first things first I want to say
this week was a really good week for me
emotionally I did some serious
breakthroughs I did a lot of therapy
homework and I also got back in touch
with my nutritionist so I'm really
excited to say that my nutritionist is
back on board with me my therapist has
always been on board with me I'm
checking in now weekly with both of them
the nutritionist is a new nutritionist
it's not the one that I had prior this
one is more of what I am looking for
which is going to get me on a good
eating schedule meal plans
activity plan like the whole thing so
I'm really really really happy that I
found this one and she seems like a
really nice person and she seems like
she and I click really well and that's a
really good feeling and again the nicest
thing is we're both on board with the
same thinking so that helps termined
ously when it comes to my recovery
that's been a really good highlight for
my week is just being able to plug back
in and really get that helping hand that
I need for my nutrition and stuff like
that this week when it comes to my
activity I am going to say that I pretty
much was at a zero when it comes to my
activity level when I say activity level
I'm talking like my workout stuff
walking doing any type of cardio
anything like that I just I I didn't do
it this week I what had a percent did
not do it I did work really hard on my
house like cleaning catching up on
chores laundry things like that and I
guess you could almost count that is a
workout because for me right now that is
a workout I you know I get winded when
I'm doing even a little bit of housework
I get winded so for me that still is
considered a workout because I sweat my
heart rate goes up I you know I I feel a
workout and I know that that probably
sounds kind of weird to some because
housework workout but when you're not
used to moving your body very much and
then you just go in and do it it does
count for something so that is really
good
that I at least got that in but I didn't
get like actual like geared cut out
workout time but I have some things that
I'm sort of looking into plus my
nutritionist also has given me some
great advice on some some YouTube videos
that I
do that are like low impact cardio
beginners so I'm really excited to start
that this coming fresh week and what
else this week okay so we're gonna talk
about my weigh-in
yes we're gonna talk about the weigh-in
one that I was trying to avoid this week
well so I mentioned on my community tab
that I had an appointment that took
priority over me getting my video up and
that was I had to go directly to the
doctor's this morning and get some blood
work done due to some major swelling in
my body I'm not quite sure what is going
on I'm on a diuretic so that should not
be an issue but for some reason I mean I
woke up and I am this is nothing
compared to what it was this morning I
my ring was cutting into my skin it was
so tight I could barely take it off I
mean it's looser now but it wasn't
earlier this morning when I woke up I
couldn't even clenched my hands close my
hands literally were like this because
they were so swollen and I haven't had
that type of an issue in oh my gosh I
want to say since probably when I had my
last baby that's what I want to say is I
think that's when I noticed that type of
like explosion of swelling in my body I
don't like I thought about what all I
had eaten within the last 24 hours that
would have caused it the only thing that
I could think of that remotely would
have even maybe slightly caused the
swelling which I have a hard time
believing is I had some peanuts but I
didn't eat more than my portion that I
was supposed to have which was 1/4 of a
cup and that was it like I the only
other thing I could think of is maybe I
didn't get enough fluids in with eating
the peanuts but again
I didn't eat that many peanuts to create
I wouldn't think a problem like this so
I called the doctor first thing this
morning because I my blood pressure
monitor went to it just died on me so I
called him to get my blood pressure
checked this morning and also to have
him evaluate why the swelling is the way
it is because they do have to keep a
very close eye on me because of my
kidneys and also because I have suffered
a stroke in 2004 so they have to watch
all of those things and there was a few
things happening yesterday that I
noticed I went to put my hair up
yesterday and I got like this sense of
wanting to pass out while I had my hands
up when I went to go and put my hands
down my hands were like twitching like I
I had no control over them they were
just twitching and I was really kind of
worried so I did it again I put my hands
up in my ear and I kind of got that
sense of wanting to pass out again and
then I put my hands down and it did that
twitching again I'm thinking that's
really weird like I I don't know my
body's never done that before but okay
whatever so I I don't know I don't know
what's going on so I went to the doctors
they checked my blood pressure it was
elevated he checked my swelling he
pushed on a couple areas on my body to
see how the skin popped back up it was
taking a little while for it to come up
so he sent me home and told me I needed
to double my intake of fluids and I need
to start getting my body moving because
if you move your body you are more up to
work all that fluid out I have to go
back again tomorrow have my blood
pressure monitored again he'll check the
swelling again see how I'm doing and
then from there if that has if it hasn't
done anything until for tomorrow's
appointment then we will definitely
which he did blood work on me to today
to check my enzymes of my liver and my
kidney function and then also
a count of my heart they did EKG on my
heart and then we'll do it again
tomorrow and see if there's any
differences in elevation from today to
tomorrow then we're looking at I could
possibly be put in the hospital until we
can get this figured out or there might
be something he could do while I'm in
home but we'll have to figure all this
out that is very scary for me and I just
feel really bad because I know that
ultimately I know that I'm doing
everything I'm supposed to be doing here
besides my activity levels and I know
that's my fault
there's nothing stopping me from working
out or doing anything it's it's purely
just being lazy and I know that and i
100% take full responsibility for that
and now that I am NOT doing that
my body's paying the price for it so
there are definitely some things that
are gonna have to change drastically and
one being I'm gonna have to kick myself
in the butt and get myself really moving
and doing what I'm supposed to do the
right way because clearly you know you
guys are gonna see my weight and you're
gonna probably pass out because it is
like a shock I about fell off the scale
when I heard the scale go off this
morning so let me insert that right
here and then we'll come back and talk

that is a 19 pound weight gain in one
week one week so clearly I mean if
anybody thinks that you can gain 19
pounds in one week by just doing
absolutely nothing but overeating that
is almost unheard of so clearly this is
a lot of fluid and I don't know why I am
retaining the fluid like I said we're
trying to figure it out but in the
meantime I am going off of what my scale
says which is 476 so as you guys can
hear it that's what it is
and I eye does it does it make me want
to throw my towel in and say you know
just forget the whole thing because you
know I've tried and I've still gained
yeah but then at the same time I know
that there's still there's still room
for improvement meaning like my you know
my exercising my eating portions
I really don't see where I'm going wrong
with my eating my fluid intake has been
not the best and movement has been at
its lowest so those two things right
there can play a huge huge part of why I
have put on water weight and then put on
the pounds like they have been but to
just say that I weight that I gained 19
pounds for eating overeating that just
I've never heard of it before and I know
darn well in my heart that that's not
true so my doctor definitely is
concerned and wants to get to the bottom
of why I've put on 20 pounds almost in
one week clearly something is up and be
like I said being on a diuretic I
shouldn't be having those issues so
anyways my ankles are really swollen I
mean just everything is really swollen
really bad today so I mean I can even
fill in my face my face is even fallen
so that is that that's the update on my
weekly weigh-in
I hope I don't let people down I know
that I am and I hope people can
understand that you know I don't I don't
have an excuse for why I'm this way
except for the fact that I know a lot of
it is water retention but we don't know
why and so that's where we're getting to
the bottom of it but again I have to
like the doctor said double my fluid
intake and be moving I have to be moving
constantly that is gonna be the only way
that I'm going to work this waterway out
of me is by moving and continuing to
flush my body with more water so that is
what my goal is for the next 24 hours is
to do that plus for the rest of week but
I'm saying for the next 24 hours it is
my job to totally try and flush my body
and see where I'm at I think this week I
am gonna do a Midway in I think that
that's only fair for myself because of
what I am going through today I think
that my weight will be more of an
accurate weight once I can get this
fluid off of me so I'm really thinking
of doing another weigh-in probably what
are we on we're on Wednesday so maybe
like Sunday I'm thinking don't hold me
to it if I don't feel you know
comfortable doing it then I'm not going
to but at least I can think them I might
check in on Sunday with you guys give
you guys a little bit of an update also
with everything else going on but also
with an update on my weight see where I
am at and then go from there but anyways
it is what it is all I can do is shake
it off keep pushing pushing forward
doing what the doctor told me to do and
go from there please take care of you
